This stream is pretty clever. Listen carefully to your computer speakers as police calls are on one side of your stereo computer speakers and a ham radio club is on the other side of your computer stereo speakers. WAIT, it don't stop there. Background sound from the shown webcam travels from one speaker to the other. Totally interesting in itself, not to mention the activity of the police calls.

In 2009 television broadcasts will be converting over to just a digital signal and will no longer broadcast the anolog signals we are recieving right now. Currently the FCC's target time is 'February 2009'.
For most people this means you have about two years to replace your television with a HDTV set, or get a converter box for your old set. Another benefit to HDTV that most people don't realize is, you will have access to additional channels. "I'm sure everyone has heard the phrase 'the stations between the stations'". This holds true for television broadcasts as well as HD-radio.
Talk to your local Radio Shack salesman or other retailer for more information. HD is more than a change of picture quality. Check it out.
