A Fire Truck That Swims. "Take A Look!" [13 Images] After this vehicle was retired from the Milwaukee Fire Departments '1st & Virginia' fire house; I was disappointed because I never got any pictures of it. However, I knew this wasn't the sort of vehicle that you just turn over to a scrap yard,... and that it must still be around owned by a private person or collector. After years and years of keeping my eyes open for it,... I found it sitting on a public lawn in Waukesha county. The city or it's current owner took the 'Milwaukee' name off of it, but in spite of this units age it still looks really really good. |

This is a great place to visit and always has been my favorite place to take school groups. No way is this the whole musium, but it's still makes for a pretty good size album on this website. |

Field Trip 5 - Jim's Pumpkin Farm [13 Images] Jim's Pumpkin Farm located in Germantown Wisconsin is a relatively new attraction for school groups. This farm has been doing this for about 5 or 6 years and offers the enjoyment of a corn maze and hay rides. Every effert was made to keep the school children out of the photo's due to child privacy laws and school district policy. |

Holy Redeemer Church Fire. Waukesha County, WI. [23 Images] I didn't hear about this fire until the day after it happened. However I did manage to arrive the next day, along with a several Milwaukee area television stations which show up in the photographs. The church was a total loss. |

Lannon helping the sick. [5 Images] A passenger in a traveling vehicle got ill needing assistance. The Lannon resourses show up after being called and everything was brought under control. License plates, commercial vehicle lettering and identity of the ill person were either airbrushed out or not included in the film strip for privacy reasons. |

Lannon Practice Burn 2 [68 Images] Lannon Practice Burn-2. The second of three houses to be burned down to make way for a new church. In some shots of this album you will see a two story white house in the background, that will be the third house they burn down but not on the same day. |

Lannon Traffic Accident [24 Images] Nothing too exciting, but I felt it was worth getting off the sofa and clicking of some frames. Again as in a different film strip, the license plates have been air brushed for privacy. You can't blame the photographer for the color of these photo's. It wasn't anything I did. The sky was one of those 'funky' colors kinda like during a tornado or other storm system aproaching the area, but this day no storm actually came. |

Wisconsin Wind Storm Damage [24 Images] Back in about 1994 a wind storm went through southeastern Wisconsin leaving a path of distruction from Waukesha county, all the way up to Fond Du Lac county. Here are just some pictures along it's path of destruction; Pictures show vehicles turned into swiss cheese, a semi trailer blown over in a field, and some farm structures blown down and destroyed. Also note one picture with a light pole broken like a giant tooth pick. |
